miniDLNA installs and seems to setup correctly but it does not show up on my Samsung TV set, as previous of OMV miniDLNA did.
RaspberryPI model 1 , 512 meg of memory.

Are you on different version of OMV or just new version of MiniDLNA ??? What version of MiniDLNA ?

I loaded the current new version of omv_1.17_rpi_rpi2.img
I just looked at the miniDLNA in the plug ins list and miniDLNA version shows as version 1.0.11

Make sure testing is enabled in OMV extras and then you should see an upgrade in the upgrade manager for minidlna package.

Got miniDLNA working.
Had a red dot in the services running column, I deleted miniDLNA
I SSH in and did a apt-get update
It still shows version of 1.0.11 but its working.
Had an update for OMV extra's and ran it, but miniDLNA still showed version 1.0.11
Re-installed miniDLNA and now in running there is a blue dot.Rich Prim

There is a plugin version and a package version. The 1.0.11 is the version for the plugin. The minidlna package version should be 1.1.4.
You can see both with this command:
dpkg -l | grep minidlna
lists packages that have minidlna in the name

1.1.5 hasn't been out very long. The version OMV uses is the Debian Sid package compiled on Wheezy. Sid is still at 1.1.4. Is there a specific feature you need?
