I rebooted to halt and brought up again, its working
Does this mean the openmediavault folder is surviving the reboot and you get OMV's web gui login???
PS- Please realize I usually am doing 10 things at once. I do not go back and read everything.

How shall I determine, if my ssd is good (Samsung 830) ...
S.M.A.R.T. tells this: (Mann, was für ein Akt, das im Bios zu finden ... ;-)) )

SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED
They are good SSDs. Aaron uses them a lot. I use Intel and Crucials.
SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: PASSED
however SMART determines this, and that?
Looks verrrry interessting, but ... apt-get install bc ... produces:
Diese Pakete ohne Überprüfung installieren [j/N]? j
Building local package repository ...
sh: 1: cd: can't cd to /var/cache/openmediavault/archives
E: Problem executing scripts DPkg::Pre-Invoke '. /etc/default/openmediavault; if [ ! -e ${OMV_DPKGARCHIVE_DIR}/Packages ]; then echo Building local package repository ...; cd ${OMV_DPKGARCHIVE_DIR} && apt-ftparchive packages . > Packages; fi'
E: Sub-process returned an error code
made dir /var/cache/openmediavault/archives and it worked with throwing some errors ... work to do?
This stat is more important. Here is one of my SSDs failing:

Grins ... die is hin! This parrot is dead!
hehe... I have 2 Intel 530s in the box.

It seems you could be missing some more stuff. Whether it will be regenerated I don't know. We should have Aaron take a look and see what he says....
I'm going to take out that old SSD.

Is there any errors after omv-mkconf omvextrasorg aptclean
some more hungry mouth to feed ...
not able to post the output here, more then 10000 chars
but i can't see errrors, some "IGN", some "removed ..." seems to be normal. Is there a way to post it?
You don't need to post it. Just any errors Did it help? Hard to tell what is working and what isn't at this point.
I' wondering if i did something wrong or if the installed Plugins did something bad.
There was was plenty like:
Ign http://packages.omv-extras.org kralizec-plex/main Translation-en
and some like:
removed `/var/lib/apt/lists/security.debian.org_dists_wheezy_updates_Release'
No errors i think ... is my dir-Structure as posted above ok?
Behavior of the frontend is now ok ...
I don't think you did anything wrong. Seems like the json cache gets screwed up sometimes and the command I gave you clears it.
