I think I also had this problem, and I fixed it by changing

    - CHANGE_TO_COMPOSE_DATA_PATH/paperless:/var/lib/postgresql/data
    to
    - CHANGE_TO_COMPOSE_DATA_PATH/paperless/postgres:/var/lib/postgresql

    and
    - CHANGE_TO_COMPOSE_DATA_PATH/paperless:/data

I would start by fixing/changing the volumes paths. The first two should have a subdir in "paperless".

strange. I have five systems running proxmox kernel with kvm plugin and libvirtd has no problems starting.

Thanks for testing and confirming the other changes are working.

I completeley missed the scheduler in compose. I only have eight containers Emby, sabnzbd and a few ARRs. Is auto updating a good idea or are problems to be expected? On my Windows setup all updates are automatic and I don't think I've had any issues…

You're right, maybe I'm just being anal about how I'd like it. It works after all with the current setup.
    Thanks!

It depends how you want to handle the updates.

The compose plugin can schedule updates. DIUN will notify you of updates, which I used to use, but you get one email per container, so it was annoying. I currently use watchtower, which will auto update…

Apparently, "Data" is the name of your pool; you shouldn't create a shared folder in that location.

You can complicate things as much as you want, but keep in mind that if you start mixing permissions in folders at different levels, things might…

BernH I have a quick question for you. What do you use to be notified of docker container update availability? I was looking around and can't see anything in OMV but a quick google came back with a fair few options. I saw one called dockcheck script…

    I think so I'm afraid.

    Currently my setup is this:
Data (this is the mergerFS pool?)
    -folder1
    -folder2
    -folder3

I was thinking that I'd like the setup to be
    Data
    -folder1
    --folder inside folder1
    --folder2 inside folder1
    -folder2
    --folder inside folder2
    --folder2…

    Hi,

I'm currently running paperless-ngx with Docker Compose on a Debian machine for quite some time without any problems.

Now I want to switch my installation to omv 8 and start from scratch. I've tried to install paperless-ngx with the Docker Compose…
