    Is there a reason why I recieve a email advising of what package updates are available, but when i goto the dashboard there no notification to say there is any

    If I do a manual System > Update Magement >updates then click search it finds them

    I don't think the disk is failing. Most disks in the share are HDDs, some are pretty new SSDs. I specifically started removing disks with SMART errors and replacing them with SSDs, I don't think any of these files are on the SSDs

    Yes, the data is definitely in /POOL1

    On the very first post MK said he followed the How-to guide which has since been moved to wiki so I am trying to follow that guide but the network interfaces part has me a bit confused. Most examples and screenshots including the very post screenshot…

    Odroid HC2 slow ssh connection verfasst.

    My Odroid HC2 has also slowed. Besides the SSH slowness, my RSYNC data backups are taking much longer. I haven't researched the problem yet.

    I don't think the reset permissions plugin will work error free if it encounters any files with the immutable bit set. This could cause an error to be thrown even if all the other files had their permissions successfully reset.

    The plugin uses a user with privileges to change any permissions. So if the files are still read-only maybe the hard drive is failing. An SSD, for example, can do that if it is already exhausted, it won't let you write but it will let you read.
