    OMV will not allow you to configure any type of Raid if the drives are connected by USB. You need SATA connections.

    Also my other machines are not accessible via ssh i use w11 client with putty 0.81.

    OMV 5 has reached end of life and is not supported anymore. You won't receive updates or security fixes. That's a security risk.

    OMV 6 will only be supported for another month or so. My suggestion: Bring both servers to OMV 7.

    No, this will not work. The parity drive must be at least as large as your largest data drive.

    You could go with 4TB and 3TB data drives and 4TB parity drive.
