    I've never achieved a running instalation without Portainer.
    I have to dig a little bit more. And have a look on HowTo install with compose.

    I don't access it outside of my local network (or with VPN)

    You can install the systemrescue iso from the System Kernel menu. It will then be available as a boot option in OMV unless the system disk is completely unbootable in which case use the USB stick.

    I never used systemresque but it sounds good. In the past when my laptop would not boot from system drive due to orruption of OS, I would just boot to Linux live usb stick and run timeshift to restore snapshot from source drive back to system drive.…

    Disliking what I said, won't solve your problem.
    The error you have is because you are using a NTFS drive to hold the compose folder.

    And it's better to click the bell on the Top right corner and copy/paste the complete error.

    omv-onedrive-auth error verfasst.

    same issue, fixed with the follow

    ssh to your OMV server as root
    chmod 777 /var/cache/onedrive

    rerun the auth command should work.

    Seems like permissions issues on the cache directory

    Restoring a snapshot when the OS won't boot is something I thought would be done from something like systemrescue (it does include timeshift).
