    Thank you for the expert explanation, I'm going to try it for a while with an old pc, only I don't know yet where the operating system should be placed if I use a pc.

    5. Go to the cli (Putty, ssh, keyboard) and run these commands (In case of errors stop and ask on the forum before makingthings worse)
    1. Make sure your current install is correct all configs can be deployed by running sudo omv-salt stage run deploy

    I'll say it again. NTFS drives should not be used for data storage. They don't behave the same a a linux formatted drive because ntfs does not carry linux permissions and owners. NTFS should only be used as a temporary mount to copy to/from the linux…

    Yes I would have liked to build it with an RPi the raid because of the small power consumption. But as I understand the OMV does not support Raid with disks connected to the usb?
    Then what is a good alternative to build a Raid with OMV ?

    Just a PC ?

    With mc you see hidden files and folders....
    But .trash or recycle bin not there.
