    They are probably mount point directories located in the root of the system drive. If there are files in such a mountpoint and a drive is then mounted there the files will be invisible and not accounted for. But they still take up space on the system…

    I have seen it several times and it is as ryecoaaron says, the exit is still there but horizontally on the same line. By scrolling to the right you can see the full output. The line break is lost when there is no space between each formatting digit…

    It isn't a car. It won't help to leave it off longer.

    You probably have files in the mount point and you can't see them when the other filesystems are mounted. I would unmount each of these filesystems one at a time to check

    Thanks for the link, but it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know.

    Again:
    This is documented (and thus expected) default behavior from samba if no access rights are provided.
    I'm just asking, if somebody knows if there is a way to change that…

    No, i think this is the result of limiting the output to 100k characters in that window. This is to do not crash the browser because of memory issues.

    I have done that multiple times now.
    Nothing happens.

    I have even shut the machine down for over 15 minutes and turned it on again.

    This is known. I can't find the issue about it. It has something to do with the formatting output and is a trade off to breaking other things if I remember correctly. The output is there but just starts going horizontal. The horizontal scroll bar can…
