Hi guys!
I don't generally have problems with removing a directory in a share....until now...
If I right click on it in Windows and try to remove it nothing happens...?
Do I need to go in on command line to remove this stubborn directory?

I assume you're using Samb/CIFS.
Whenever you want to remove a share folder, ensure that none of the services such as smb/cifs, plex, NextCloud, Seafile is using them.
Then you go in OMV GUI, and remove them.
Also, whichever user that you used to created that folder, then sign it with that user in Windows to access the share drives.
You can also remove from command line, if you are sure none of the services is using it.
CLI: rm -r /foldername
Hi tinh_x7!
Thanks for that....
Question:
Where are the shares found via cli?
bookie56
/media/UUID/.........
UUID is a long number...
Well, I can find the /media/uuid and my share is called Media2 but I can't find anything in that directory?

Are your shares are external drives or RAID?
No raid...just two internal drives...
Make sure they're mounted first.
Go in the OMV web, and see if they're mounted.
Sorry, not much help here...Yes, they are mounted
Try: cat /proc/mounts
Sorry, bit late here...
I ran a live dvd and removed the culprit....;)
Thanks so much for your time!
