Update Error via GUI and CLI

  • Hi there,
since a few days I get this error out of the blue when I try to update my OMV installation:

    Code
    W: Failed to fetch http://debian.yeasoft.net/btsync14/dists/wheezy/main/binary-amd64/Packages 302 Found

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

So I do not use BTsync but I use Syncthing form the OMV-extras plugin/repos.
Does someone have a hint for me to solve this update issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    topi

I fixed this but I guess I didn't push it out. Give me a few minutes.

omv-extras 2.13.8 is in the repo. I renamed it to just Sync as well.

  • Thanks ryecoaaron.

I installed the new omv-extras plugin according to the omv-extras guide with an installation via command line as root. This worked fine and my OMV does receive updates again :)

You should've been able to disable the btsync/sync repo and update to the latest omv-extras. But, your method works as well.

  • Sorry ryecoaaron for bringing up the issue again. Meanwhile after updating successfully yesterday, I get today this Error/Warning message:

Perhaps there is another hint for me to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in advance,

I'm just going to remove btsync repo from what omv-extras adds. It isn't being maintained anymore anyway.

  • Thanks ryecoaaron,
with the omv-extras plugin version 2.13.9 the issue is resolved and updates are working again :)
