Disk by-id

Hi guys!
I am getting all sorts of problems with drives being dropped by OMV on start up....have run the usual tests and not finding anything...
If I do a reinstall is there a way to do disk by-id from the web interface?
If I do it via the terminal what happens?

Omv uses now fs labels, if no label then by-id. Uuid is no longer used. So remove the labels and Omv should use by id.

I am hoping that one day in the near future I will have my servers running more efficiently like tkaiser says....
