[solved] Help! High load and lots of syslog entries

Hi,

I think I need some help. My syslog is flooded with the follwoing entries:

Hi,

nothing special.

The only thing I did was installing vdr. But I´ve already removed it some days ago.

I´ve rebootet OMV, the load is gone but the syslog still gets tons of these entries.

any hints how to figure that out?

Can this be my DVB-C Tuner? Or my dismountet USB Drive for backups?

It could be the tuner. I'm going to have someone that has used the DVR plugin look at this. This path is weird to me and we need to know where it is coming from.

I sent pm to a few mods that know more about the DVR plugin. Before you take anything out of your system make sure you undo all settings in plugins, just for future reference. Hopefully they can help you on this. Good Luck.

Hi,

too late. I´ve removed him. I only used him for vdr. As I uninstalled vdr I already removed the sundtek drivers for the tuner. So removing him should be save, or not?

But nothing changed. Still getting lots of these syslog entries.

But now I´ll wait for further advises

Yeah, you should because I have not seen this before. Sometimes when you take things out before undoing settings entries are not removed from certain config files and this can cause problems.

Redo your timezone... Collectd has to do with collecting data and it looks like may be issue with your time zone.

/system/date and time/

in the web-gui.

Hi,

after removing the ntp server in the date and time settings the messages are gone

I will readd an other one tomorrow and report.

Ah, it did have something to do with the timezone area... Good!!! Make sure you get good address for a time server next try.

PS- If that log file got really big you might want to delete a lot of it's content.

That is the collectd file for the disk free for that data drive. Not sure why it would be bad.
