Hi,
I would like to enable the iSCSI multi-session feature (MC/S), but the interface didn't show any setting which allows me to do this, is this enabled by default?
Hi,

I don't use iscsi but I do some testing for support in the forum, specially for dkms build troubleshooting. I see an option there for max sessions, is that what are you looking for?
Exactly, I want to know if there is any capped session.
Because I would like to do iSCSI MC/S to get 2-3Gbps iSCSI connection with multi GbE ports
I have no idea then. Omv uses the same iscsi package as debian. You might want ask in debian forums or irc channel, you'll have better luck there. What you want is quite and advanced setup I guess.
No....it's not a very advanced setup, for client side even Windows 7 has internal support for this.
The basic idea is, to allow single machine to connect the same iSCSI target with different network path at the same time, previously I tried this with something like Synology NAS, they do have support for this so I can use 2 GbE on client side to make a 2Gbps connection to server end.
I understand now. Is like link aggregation but without bonding the interfaces. Interesting, don't have two nics to try, but you don't loose anything, and as I understand iscsi doesn't bind to a specific interface so you shouldn't have any problem. Again I'd recommend to look at the iscsi source in Sourceforge.org to look for further information and ask in debian forums.
