Incorrect RAID info?

  • Guys,


    I'm using RAID10, but today OMV showing RAID6 in the syslog.
    What happened?

    All of your output says raid 10. What is the problem again? An array will not magically change from raid 10 to raid 6.

    That is just the kernel loading the raid6 module. Has nothing to do with your array.

    It is a module that the linux kernel module uses. It is not telling you any information about your raid array. If you want to see messages about your array in syslog, execute: dmesg | grep :md. Otherwise, don't worry about it. cat /proc/mdstat is the most accurate info about your array.
