Hi, can't access WEB GUI after install. When i typing NAS IP my browser redirects me to google search. Ping reaches my NAS, and apache seems runs ok. Any suggestions? Thanks.
WEB GUI access issue

That is why I hate combined address and search boxes, they do it wrong, most of the time...
try to type http://ipofyouromv/ in your browser, even maybe try just iexplorer...
Greetings

Hi, David
I've restarted Apache and check its status, seems everything is ok (Apache2 is running (PID 24065)) but still can't access to WEB GUI. -
Did you change the port or change it to forced ssl?
-
-
-
Another place to check is in your router and see what attached devices are listed. It should show the IP.

Hi, everybody.
Right now i've try to start my NAS again and check all the stuff as you advised me and i saw following message:
'monit: Cannot connect to the monit daemon. Did you start it with http support?'
First i've checked the daemon presence by: ps and i don't see it.
Then i've try to restart it by: /etc/init.d/monit force-reload and get the same message. -

Is he getting the signin screen or not? Did he try to sign in on different machine or with his cell? Different browser?

I also cannot access webgui. I have 2 omv's. one i can reach. the one in raid (with one faulty disk) i cannot reach??
Presume it can not be browser or pc, because i can reach the other one
apache2 status gives me:
Apache2 is running (pid 16518) -

Are you logging in locally or over ssh? If locally, can you ping the omv box?
-
I can login local via cli and i can login via ssh. Webgui via ip is my problem.
-
What is the output from the second command when logged into the box?
wget http://localhost/
cat index.html -

Something isn't working right. Try
/etc/init.d/openmediavault-engined restart
-
Both from via ssh and CLI I get:
/etc/init.d/openmediavault-engined restart
-bash: /etc/init.d/openmediavault-engined: Bestand of map bestaat niet (Dutch) -> File or folder does not exist -
-
That's not good. Show me:
dpkg -l | grep openmediavault

dpkg -l | grep openmediavault
