backup the configuration

Hi,

I want to know if it's possible to backup the configuration.
I have mail with "Resource limit matched Service rootfs "
I test many add-on (install on Web-gui) or package (install on SSH).

I want to made a clean install. So i want to save my configuration.

If someone reinstall openmediavault and give the problem or the difficulty of the process.

I have done it many times. It is easy if you configuration is simple. You don't have to recreate the filesystems, just shares, users, and plugin setups.

Just to be clear, because it's difficult to tell if you understand exactly what rye said:

You can save any data, filesystems, etc.. on your storage drives. As said above, all you need to do on the new install is remount them, add the shares back to "Shared Folders" and add them back to the appropriate services.

However, saving custom configuration options of various services, or of the OS itself, is currently not possible.
