RAID5 wird von neuem Mainboard nicht erkannt.

Hallo Leute,

hatte damals zuerst ein RAID 5 mit Fake-Raid vom Mainboard unter windows laufen. Nun wollte ich die alten Daten von dem Rechner auf mein NAS übertragen und musste feststellen das sich mein Mainboard des alten Rechners verabschiedet hat. Also dachte ich mir neues Mainboard und System ein wenig erneuern. Und dann musste ich feststellen das das neue Mainboard das Alte Raid nicht erkennt.

Habt ihr ne idee wie ich es zum laufen bringen könnte? oder Daten retten?

That is the problem with fake motherboard raid. You will need the original board or probably another from the same manufacturer with the same chipsets.

The old Board was a "DFI Landparty" with Socket 939. It is so old there are no new on market. And the Manufactur don´t build this serie today.

Does the old motherboard still work?

I don´t now the old board has often Problems with the Ram and they killed many rams. and there was 1 of 4 Ram socket they still worked.

I would make sure to not overclock/overvolt the ram and boot the old board with systemrescuecd. Then see if you can recover data.

Is that Nforce4? If so the raids are interchangeble (backwards compatible) for newer chipsets, you can find some used AM2 n4 or some nforce500 board and the raid should get detected
