Not available outside your network

Hi,

I cannot get the plex to log into my account.

I have created a port forward for port 32400 and when I log in from a remote site I can view the :32400/web site, but on the left it does not see the server.

Locally I can see the server. (cant play anything but .mp4 files, but ill get to that problem next).

Please help.

Ok, figured my first problem out.

I had an extra dns record.

had to run - sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf

removed the faulty dns listed first, saved the file and it works now.

Now on to the next issue. i.e. does not play mkv and avi files.
