There is no ajaxplorer plugin. I created the extplorer plugin yesterday. Is that what you are using? If you give the openmediavault user read/write privileges on your shares, you will be able to move/delete folders.

  • Thank you for the plugin!

Yeah I'm using it but where is the mentioned openmediavault user stored? I wasn't able to login successfully to extplorer, so I had have to change the password within the htaccess. with admin and my own password I'm just able to view my whole filesystem :)

When you are installing the plugin, it says in the window (probably not easy enough to see) that the default username is admin and password is openmediavault. The openmediavault user is the user which OMV's web interface and extplorer are running under. So, that user needs access to shares/files, etc.

You don't need to. Just the openmediavault user because php accesses the files as openmediavault (not admin).

  • Hello

    Zitat von "ryecoaaron"

Install minidlna from a deb so it shows up in dpkg -l. You should be able to use the same method you used with fedaykin. minidlna has to be version 1.0.24 or newer.

Then download this and upload using the web interface. It should work fine.

With curiosity, I installed last openmediavault-omvextrasorg on my ARM and it does not allow to install openmediavault-minidlna

MiniDLNA works with this (using the link above)

    Code
    wget http://omv-extras.org/debian/pool/main/o/openmediavault-omvextrasorg/openmediavault-minidlna_0.5.5_all.deb
    dpkg -i openmediavault-minidlna_0.5.5_all.deb

  • Is anyone else getting a "communication failure" error when trying to search for plugins after the latest update?

If i remove the "omvextras" using apt-get, I can access a list of my plugins again.

    Any ideas?

If you uncheck all the boxes in the omv-extras plugin, does it work?

  • Hi all,

First thanks for your work on the plugin.
seconds i'm on the 0.4 version of OMV and i want to know if the 0.5 and pluging are stable ?
    I use some plugin:
    - Subsonic (install by shell)
    - AFP
    - miniDLNA
    - MySQL (for my XBMC) -> maybe can use plex server ?
    - UPS
    - OpenVPN

Do you thinks that i can upgrade ? what are the main advantage ?
    Thanks

    OMV Erasmus (always the last version) - version:AMD64 - noyau:4.7.0 - CPU:AMD II X2 250 - RAM:8Gb - RAID1 and RAID5

Also any way there could be a PLEX PASS plugin made? just an idea...
i don't have the knowledge to manually upgrade to plexpass each time a new one comes out...
Unless there is a simple command to upgrade to plexpass that i am unaware of...

    • Offizieller Beitrag

I'll have to discuss that with tekkbebe. I don't know anything about it.
