You can already. Just install Debian then OMV- Install OMV4 on Debian 9 (Stretch)
That said, OMV 5 should be based on Debian 10 and make it easier to support UEFI.

That said, OMV 5 should be based on Debian 10 and make it easier to support UEFI.I know that you can do it, but I'm asking about stand alone OMV installation.
OMV4 is based on Debian 9, and we all know that OMV standalone can't be installed in UEFI mode and Debian 9 can.
So my question is on the spot. Will OMV5 support standalone installation on UEFI motherboards or not? -
When Debian live-build supports UEFI, then i'm sure OMV will do it, too.
