Samba share OK from Linux, but inaccessible from Windows

  • Pre:
I have an old NAS with OMV 2.2.14. I currently work with it from Linux and Windows machines.
    Now:
I installed a new NAS with OMV 5.3.7, same configuration as the older NAS: same users, same shares, same permissions.
From Linux (Debian or LinuxLite) I can mount, read and write on the configured shares.
But not from Windows (Win 10 or Win 7). This PCs mounts, read and writes the shares from the older NAS, but the users cannot be authenticated from Windows.
    Any ideas?

    Regards,
    Lorenzo

  • Solved.
Setting the registry key Computer\HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\LmCompatibilityLevel to 3 solve the problem. I can mount OMV2 and OMV5 shares.
