Question about Cockpit installation

  • Hi :)

I would like to try using Cockpit because i see it's also a server statistic manager. To now i already use Portainer, but via docker-compose, so i have some questions:

    1. Can i install Cockpit via docker?

    2. If i install from the OMV-Extras tab what happens exactly? What is installed with Cockpit?

    3. After i install it, can i access it from outside? For Portainer installed via docker i reach it via reverse proxy from outside.

    Thanks in advance!

    No.

cockpit packages and their dependencies (if needed). cockpit doesn't have a lot of dependencies though.

Outside what? It is a service listening on port 9090 on the host. If you can reverse proxy to that, then sure you can access it.

    Done, thanks.

How can i update it? Hitting install again when a new update is available or i will find the updates in the "Update Management" tab?

Looking at the "Logs" tab of Cockpit i see lot of errors like these, what could be?
