I loaded a test VM on Proxmox of OMV 5.6.13 using the ISO and then I updated it to 5.6.20. After that, I did the omv-release-upgrade and upgraded to OMV 6.0.1. Now, I see the Plugins option on the left menu bar, and I see the OMV plugins, but when I installed Fail2Ban and OMV Backup, they show installed when I go back to plugins, but on the left menu bar, they do not show anywhere. I have refreshed and restarted my VM and still nothing. I think this is a bug! Note, when I did the update to OMV 6.x, OMV Extra updated to 5.6.2.

Yep, there is nothing that upgrades omv-extras when upgrading OMV 5.x to 6.x yet. I haven't had time to finish porting the plugin let alone work on upgrades. If you re-install omv-extras, it should help. omv-extras plugins - porting progress to OMV 6.x

Thank you ryecoaaron!!! That helped and now I see omv extras under the System section and the plugins are now version 6.x! If the SMB side on OMV6.x is on point, then I might do the migration on my production environment. I am really enjoying the interface and the colour pallette. So much easier to look at then OMV 5. Thank you for all that you and the team do!

I noticed a bug with Fail2Ban. After do the upgrade to OMV Extras, I noticed that fail2ban shows installed, but it is not showing anywhere in the GUI. I know in OMV5.x it was under Services. Can this be looked into? Thanks!

Can you please cut & paste the output next time? I updated the plugin and you need to check for updates. It is trying to install an old version that is no longer available.
