Are you able to connect by ssh or keyboard/monitor?
Try omv-firstaid
login with the root password and then just type it.
what I found is that other cases with ASM chipsets (likely within the same family of chipsets) can read & write. Had posted this in the past here
The only snag would always be to find a box that uses the ASM chip (hence a equal box/controller).
After using it for some time now, I realized that the use I'm giving it, I'm not using the full/real potential of the Box.
When I decide to move those drives to a different box, I might try it in a RAID conf to see how it handles the performance (maybe a 2x1TiB SSD RAID0 for torrents DL cache)
