zfs plugin dont work after update to 5.18.0.0

    Hi
    My zfs pools are unavabile after update to :

    Version
    6.0.30-1 (Shaitan)

    Kernel
    Linux 5.18.0-0.bpo.1-amd64


    Distributor ID: Debian

    Description: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)

    Release: 11

    Codename: bullseye



    zpool status command :

    Code
    The ZFS modules are not loaded.
Try running '/sbin/modprobe zfs' as root to load them.

    /sbin/modprobe zfs command :


    Code
    modprobe: FATAL: Module zfs not found in directory /lib/modules/5.18.0-0.bpo.1-amd64



    if i try open SERVICES section in OMV GUI this error show up.


    but plugin is installed :



    does anyone know how to solve it?

    Hat das Label OMV 6.x hinzugefügt.

    If you switch to the Proxmox kerel, the trouble goes away, as it has zfs included.

    If you got help in the forum and want to give something back to the project click here (omv) or here (scroll down) (plugins) and write up your solution for others.

    You need zfs 2.1.5 to be able to compile the zfs module on the 5.18 kernel. You will have to wait until zfs 2.1.5 is in bullseye backports. As zoki mentions, using the proxmox kernel avoids these issues.
