Hello, anyone using mergerfs and configured samba share for the folder in mergerfs? I can see shared folder in network, but can't access inside this folder and see any files - permissions denied.

Have you assigned privileges to the users?
-
Yes, I've created Users, created Shared Folder and assigned access right to Users. Add Samba Share and allow guest access. I can see folder in network environment, but I can't see any files in it both from Windows and MacOS

can you create or copy something?

Copy something locally (on OMV) on from Share (SMB)?
-
For example from windows pc in the network
-
Once again. I can see shared folder but can access any files in it (can't list files and of course access them). So I can't copy and so on...

ok i don't know anymore
I've already googled it and only encountered problems

mergerfs doesn't change permissions of the underlying filesystems. You need to fix the underlying files and folders if you can't access via smb.

Can I user Reset Permissions plugin to do it?
That is a good start.
-
So, in Reset permission plugin I've selected - Clear ACLs and select Everyone Read/Write - but everything remained the same

Don't know what your samba config looks like.

Did you create your user before or after configuring samba? sometimes the smbpasswd isn't sync'd with the system password. You could try changing the user's password.
-
I do had the sam problem, I can browse and R/W the mergefs folder with WINSCP, but prompts no permission in smb share using win10.
other smb shared folders w/o mergefs works good in win10.
and problem SOLVED after reset by following the instruction provided by @ryecoaaron.
thx @ryecoaaron
