Trying to recover after reboot, raid0 array has a missing/failed member

  • Hi all,

I feel somewhat inept even asking for help here, but I am hoping someone might be able to help regardless. Apologies in advance for my lack of knowledge with this stuff.

I rebooted by raid0 NAS thinking nothing of it but as soon as I did I was unable to access the file system and it seemed to be missing. I managed to SSH in and run dmesg -T which provided the below errors. Honestly I read somewhere to do this, but I am at a lose on how to interpret the output, and if I play around with this more I fear I will loose the few homework assignments I'm hoping to save.

    Any guidance is much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    J

There's nothing to do, with a failed/missing drive in a Raid0 the array is toast

Raid is not a backup! Would you go skydiving without a parachute?
