zfs raid - zfs module not updated with kernel update

cannot install kernel module of zfs when updating kernel it rely on a 5.4 pve kernel but i''m on 5.15.x.

dkms-zfs nod downloadable

I would uninstall zfs-dkms if using the proxmox kernel.

Why dkms module are not installed automatically for new kernels? Also veeam has same problem.

That is what dkms is supposed to do. But when you are trying to install zfs on a kernel that has the module builtin, it fails. That is why I said uninstall zfs-dkms.

so since the module is built in i can remove it and don't need to update del module via dkms when kernel is updated right?
