Using OMV 7 on a Pi 4 with Debian 12 64 bit Lite, when I update the system it can no longer be referred to using hostname.local any more. This is repeatable and demonstrable at will. I have reimaged the whole system many times but this behaviour is consistent.
There are some threads here about the avahi daemon but I am unable to understand them. From one thread, running omv-salt deploy run avahi does not fix the problem, and I don't know what that is doing anyway.
Any help would be appreciated.
