Hi all,
I can't start plex media server. There's no way.. Installed, uninstalled.. Reinstalled again.. Try to start manually.. Every time the web ui is unreachable, 404, and plex isn't running.
Can you help me please?

Plex won't start if there's wrong database location or volume configurated.
Have you changed the default volume and folder location?
I would first test with the default values. -

I better get a like for this. I had to upgrade an old vm to track down this problem:
1) In command line:
omv-mkconf fstab2) Then reboot.
3) Then in command line again. All these are probably not needed but I want to be sure you get clean install:
Codeapt-get --purge remove openmediavault-plexmediaserver apt-get --purge remove plexmediaserver userdel plex rm -rf /media/1c59ca65-3fe5-4c5f-acb0-076b03c7460a/plexmediaserver
4) Then reinstall the plugin again in OMV web gui....
For some reason during the upgrade process the fstab file is removing the filesystem mounts for the data drives.

This is repo or dns server issue. Did you set dns server in OMV web gui?
In OMV web gui @ /System/Netork/DNS Server
primary should be: ip of your ROUTER
secondary should be: 8.8.8.8Or the repo is down... see if aaron says anything about your post.
-
Run apt-get update, your apt-cache is out of date.
Greetings
David -

Well it installed. Can you start plex now???
/etc/init.d/plexmediaserver start
You might be able to start plexmediaserver even if the plugin is not correct...
Also, do this:
apt-get -f installTell what it says.

root@aki-nas:~# /etc/init.d/plexmediaserver start

It is working:
ZitatPlex already running...
Try to connect at this address:
There is some security (CSP) that needs to be disabled so it will show in the web client. But the button on the Settings TAB should be working. To disable the security so you can see it in the web client install the openmediavault-links plugin. Then then add a website and use a checkmark in the media check spot. Refressh your browser and that web client for the plex should be working too.
-
404... both from url and from setting tab button
-
apt-get --purge remove openmediavault-plexmediaserver
apt-get --purge remove plexmediaserver
userdel plexthen install from the plugins in the web gui. there is a new version of the plugin.
