macom sorry for the confusion. Do you need only one letsencrypt (or swag) container for more than one service? In the different yml files creating different services do you use the same letsencrypt image and give the container the same name, use the same lines of code?
Or...do you just create one big yml file with all the services you want to access remotely? I have Nextcloud running like a well-oiled machine. How do I add my local Plex to the remote party?

Regarding your 2nd topic:
https://blog.linuxserver.io/20…asthehomepageatdomainroot
and the rest of that article.
With regard to a reverse proxy (on Plex instead of Heimdall): if you already have a Nextcloud yml set up and running, if you deploy a Plex yml, shouldn’t you change the name of the Letsencrypt container to something other than the name used in Nextcloud? Or better yet, with the Letsencrypt change to Swag, maybe use the Swag image and name it swagplex and when you get around to changing the Nextcloud yml, to use swagnextcloud as container name? As in the example yml given on the linuxserver article (I have already changed some of the values in the example for my situation):
Code

Installing OMV on top of Raspian desktop is probably the source of your problems. A desktop environment doesn’t play well with OMV (or vice Versa). Don’t take my word for it. Search around the forum.

This is what I bought but the link shows it currently unavailable. I think I used the 1mm thickness. I compared it with the thickness of the supplied “thermal” adhesive do-dad and picked what I thought was the same thickness.

I've seen Docker is impossible.
How is that? “Impossible” is a mighty strong word.
Thank you my issue has been solved

Good post. Hope it catches on.
Unitek Adapter SATA-USB 3 with power. Works on RPi3’s and Odroid HC2/XU4. Great little adapter for disks stacked in a hard drive cage or for a quick/temporary setup.
Inateck USB 3 enclosure for 2.5” enclosures. It works with everything I have.

Another option could be to gracefully shut down the RPi with a scheduled job and restart it with a switchable power socket (time switch).
What an ingenious idea.

By the power of Grayskull sometimes you have to use an alternative
Meaning, the KeepAlive software? Or flashing older firmware? Or choosing a different brand enclosure?
From the post you linked to:
ZitatCan you establish a FirmWare Version that the 9558U3 Enclosure is currently running?
It has the latest firmware I flashed it just before posting here hoping it would fix it.
Chris Burns writes...
I use KeepAliveHD – https://keepalivehd.codeplex.com/
Yea im using that now seems to work well just anoying that I need a piece of software to keep it awake.
I sent orico a letter and they basically said tough luck, they have firmware to keep the raid version awake but not the non raid version...
I think I will keep looking for a different enclosure.
-
Do all of the current Orico enclosures have this “feature”? And as I gather from this and the other thread mentioned, is this only a problem on AMD64 machines? Orico appears to be the dominant player in multi disk USB3 enclosures. I was contemplating a dual bay enclosure for an XU4 or RPi3.

ekent I looked at your link and I believe the molex plug would work but you would need to
- Try the plug for fit before wiring it up.
- Note which pins on the M4 are + and -. There are tiny markings on the bottom side of the board where the socket is soldered in indicating which is which. Make sure you solder the positives and negatives together properly. Remember, you only get one chance to get it right.
One thing I like about my cable is I can disconnect power at the middle plug and not place any undue wear and tear and stress at the board. If you go with the plug you found and could find a little push-button switch to solder into the cable, that would be even better. I never found a (lighted) switch that suited my taste.

This is the power supply I used and this is the cable I used, two of them, actually. Cut the large (female) end off of one of the cables and solder the two yellow wires into one and the two black wires into one. The yellow lead attaches to the “+” (first) terminal and the black lead attaches to the “-“ (third) terminal of your power supply. Don’t be confused by the red lead at the bottom. It supplies power to a fan. You will also need a three-wire pigtail wired to the three left-most terminals of the power supply for power. You only get one try to get the connections right. Wire it wrong and you have a paperweight.

you can use the theme-custom.css file possibility to override the default CSS?
This is what I have done and it persists through the updates.
This post has similar customizing information with some links.

Two bay, 16TB disk limit, and USAP support. I don't know anything about it but was wondering if it would do what you are looking for.

1) I formatted an old SSD to EXT4 using mini-tool on windows
You should do all that from within OMV web gui.
- Under Storage/Disks wipe the disk and set your power management.
- Under Storage/File Systems create your file system and then mount the disk.

I was having the runaway heartbeat some time ago with a version-one M4 and finally figured I had scheduled a remote Rsync to my backup server which coincided with Plex running it’s scheduled maintenance. I moved the schedule a couple hours later and the problem went away.
