try to disconnect all disk except boot disk and liveUSB, then do the install, this time must work, revise that boot normally, then reconnect data disk and check again.
My reaction before is solved. I forgot to restart with disks. So now it is creating the raid Mirror.

Hi Raulfg3, Thanks for your reaction. I tried the things you said but they result in same errors: https://bit.ly/2nwvaEw Greetings IamBartjuuh
Hi I am trying to make a own NAS with openmediavault and I tried this more than 20times and I never saw it working. Little disappointing. Hope that my experience become better in the future. For now I am trying to follow this:

tutorial. At 10:25 you can see he creates a file system. I do not know what went wrong but I get this error: https://bit.ly/2ky8LFZ What am I supposed to do now??
For anyone who finds this trough google. I found the solution just deleting the partition of the harddrive where the OS runs on and start over with the installation. Turn off ACPI in bios and your problem is solved! Good night or what ever
Okay whut I looked at everything and in this: https://bit.ly/2kmTZBS picture you can see that it boots into /dev/sdf1 and if I do exit in debian build-in shell (which i will boot in btw idk why) it says this: https://bit.ly/2kdQaP8 ALERT! /dev/sdf1 does not exists. Dropping into a shell!
Boot your server in the same configuration as you installed it. I.E if the data drives were not connected during installation, boot without data drive. That should work.
Then execute update-grub
Shutdown, connect data drives, boot.
it is installed with all the drives on it. Nothing changed. Where do I execute that when I do not even come in de debian command line????
Man.. it's been forever since I've seen an IDE port...lol. Nostalgic.
Did you actually manage to get installed, and this is happening on the install, or are you getting that while booting the install disk? Hard to tell by your post...
First thing given the age of that board (assuming it is installed), I might try disabling acpi and see if that gets you to boot (this is an Ubuntu link, but it's the same for Debian)..
Thanks for your reply. It is indeed an old pc. Debian is already installed. I followed the instructions from the link. But I can't find it mine is totally different. https://bit.ly/2khZwcKhttps://bit.ly/2kmTZBS
Hi everyone, I am using openmediavault to make my own storage system. And I am having some issues here. (My specs: https://bit.ly/2lTVPus) First I got some wierd messages on startup. https://bit.ly/2lOJR5e Before I changed my pc to OMV 5 this was no issue but now I keep getting the following message. https://bit.ly/2miMEDZ mdadm: No arrays found in config file or automatically.
I have searched this issue but none of the issues seem really solved so I thought maybe some people can excually help me instead of me trying to do something where I do not have so much knowledge about.
Does anyone have had this issue before or a good solution for it?
Greetings, Bartjuuh
