    You can still plug them into the server if needed, just unmount the filesystems from the gui before you disconnect them.

    A missing drive that is still trying to mount in the filesystems page can indeed cause errors trying to mount new drives because it can't be verified during the apply step.

    Im guessing this is problem Im having, It can work fine for days / weeks

    OMV still shows NFS Green and working, but no client can connect

    trying to reboot just doesnt reboot(dont have a screen so unsure where it hangs)

    By using the "unmount" button in the "file system" tab. All links to shared folders have been moved as I said in my first post - the "referenced" tick has been removed from the drive itself.
