You can still plug them into the server if needed, just unmount the filesystems from the gui before you disconnect them. -

A missing drive that is still trying to mount in the filesystems page can indeed cause errors trying to mount new drives because it can't be verified during the apply step. -
Im guessing this is problem Im having, It can work fine for days / weeks
OMV still shows NFS Green and working, but no client can connect
trying to reboot just doesnt reboot(dont have a screen so unsure where it hangs)
Where can I find the logs to confirm… -

By using the "unmount" button in the "file system" tab. All links to shared folders have been moved as I said in my first post - the "referenced" tick has been removed from the drive itself.
Edit: After several reboots, I managed to remove the mount… -
