    Try testing out of band. Run the following command in a shell and post the output. If you don't have the telnet application installed, then install it.

    I guess if you are forwarding the webui to the Internet for some reason, then that makes sense. Ive just never particularly got this kind of thinking. I'd be more focused on proper passwords.

    Hi pako,

    which filesystem do you use on your harddisk?
    Sound like you use something else as EXT4.
    Linux stores the permissions for the folders and files in the filesystem.
    If you use NTFS e.g. strange things with permissions can happen..
