4TB Drive Initializing for nearly 24 hrs?

I ran into some problems yesterday with my RAID and decided to backup and restore. I created a new filesystem with a 4TB drive to use as a tempory storage for my files but the thing is that 4TB drive has been initializing for nearly 24 hrs now is that normal?

Yes, my 12TB array takes nearly 48 hours to initialize.

It depends whether you are using OMV as a main host or a virtual host.
Virtual host takes longer to initializing RAID.

CPU, RAM, and HDD type are taking into factor.

My 4tb raid has only a few seconds needed.
