I got my bond0 alias working, but my router showing bond0:0 IP instead bond0.
Both IP addresses are working fine though.
FYI: bond0 is DHCP, bond0:0 is static.
Is this normal?

Hi !
I've juste created a new hub repository for sickbeard with french subtitles possibilities (and english too) based on a work made by sarakha63.
docker-sickbeard-fr : https://hub.docker.com/r/slobberbone/docker-sickbeard-fr/
With a nginx configuration to can access to sickbeard by omv nginx and gui ! https ://my_omv_dns/sickbeard
Enjoy and thanks again for this plugin !!!
-
I've also created a repository based on the official one made by Sdorra for SCM-manager (a gui + versionning tool (svn, mercurial, git)) availlable for OMV too : https://hub.docker.com/r/slobberbone/docker-scm-manager/
With a nginx configuration to can access to scm by omv nginx and gui ! https ://my_omv_dns/scmEnjoy !

Nice! I'll add both your images to the plugin repo page.
EDIT: Both added

I've updated the 1st post with a short ToDo list since my memory is not the best Please feel free to inform me of what's missing...
-
Zitat
- Support for network port ranges
- Support for bind mounting read only
- Support for linking containers
- Add possibility to commit an image
- Support for switching storage backends (not sure how you transfer data when you switch). This is needed to build *some* containers.
- Support for building containers from a Dockerfile.
- Support for dropping or editing files in a data directory (it seems several containers use configs in the data directory to setup things).
- Support for pushing containers to Docker hub.
- Support for logging in to Docker hub and listing your repositories?
A lot of these may be a bit much but you'd end up with a relatively complete solution for working with Docker. If the "Docker Hub" container provides a web GUI for these things, then you'd really only need the things to get that container going.
Edit: Also, why not use issues on your github page instead?

I'll add the possibility to switch storage backends to the list (even though I have no idea how to do it atm )
Working with Dockerfiles/pushing images to Docker hub/listing repos etc feels like a new area for the plugin. As of now it's really centered around "using existing stuff". With my limited free time for development I don't think I'll be able to start of on such a thing in at least a couple of months time. Someone else up for it? I welcome all the help I can get with this plugin.
Could you please elaborate on your thought regarding managing files in a "data" directory?Edit: Also, why not use issues on your github page instead?
Are you thinking for the ToDo list? I feel most OMV users don't frequent GitHub that much, thus keep the list available here instead. -
Yeah, for the ToDo list and that's fine it's just easier to discuss individual aspects there.
-
I've already mentioned some but
- Add toggle button for switching between currently running (docker ps) and all containers (docker ps -a), and maybe exited containers.
- Add a filter box in the images and maybe container panel. I prefer images because sometimes is confusing lookup by maintainer/application
- Autocomplete container side mount binds, based on the inspect command over the image.
- Give a thought maybe an hosting docker-engine in omv repo. We haven't have any feedback from other users on what happened with 1.9 on other users more than we discussed.@ikogan If you want a good storage backend switch to btrfs, if you use zfs you can use zvol to format it as btrfs.
-
-
@subzero79 device mapper works too, there's apparently a "zfs" one, at least in their github. I've used device mapper when building containers before, it'd just be nice to have that option in the gui.

Guys,
I noticed that after I created my bond alias, OpenVPN AS wouldn't connect unless I go in there, and change the network settings to listen to all interfaces.

Open another thread this a totally different discussion.

Had the same issues back again Yesterday with docker 1.9. Had to revert to default location /var/lib/docker to start and delete network folder. This all happened ed when I stopped the daemon
Why the mount bind against the image location is /var/lib/docker/openmediavault? -
I believed it should be an empty directory. Maybe that's not necessary?
-
A because docker populates the default location at start?
-
-
That's what I believe yes.
-
Ok. Leave it like that because I don't know how is gonna affect others. I am gonna move the fstab entry outside of omv tags and deselect the docker shared folder in the plugin.
-
I ended up just running from the default location instead. It's an SSD with some space left so it's quite quick... Isn't it strange that it's just the two of us that are having issues with 1.9?
-
-
Well I am using btrfs no idea if that makes a difference. And I don't know if people have upgraded the package yet.
I have an ssd scratch partition but is ext4 for vbox, Vbox didn't like btrfs. I'll see if I relocate some space for docker. -
Just added the new features to the guide.
@nicjo814 does the data validation of paths not allow to have the containers path defined instead of autocomplete. Maybe i used the wrong words, something like these i would've though.I've put dots on the left to allow passing, but the idea would be just to fill to the left and on the right have them filled already,
