Using OMV 4 for Raspberry Pi 3
Following along to the "Techno Dad Life" videos and trying to create a Docker Image for Transmission. I attached the gui error I'm getting.
If I don't map any volumes it gets created.

What is the exact name of the Transmission docker you are using?
What is the exact name of the Transmission docker you are using?
linuxserver/transmission
error: docker create -v "/sharedfolders/config"
probably docker do not have permission to create folder.
Do you create user & group docker and use inside the docker PUID & PGID variables?.
linuxserver/transmission
linuxserver/transmission is for x86 hardware platforms, not your Pi. Delete the image you pulled and use the one that is correct for your hardware (arm).
Raspberry Pi needs Armhf images.
Here is a chart to help see that most of their images are x86 and armhf, but you need to download the armhf docker for it to work.
Linuxserver Armhf Transmission docker
Always look for lsioarmhf.
Thanks for that, I'm looking at the right docker images now.
Still getting the same error.. can anyone point me in the direction of how to set up docker permissions?

As long as it is a Linuxserver image, either x86 or arm, the setup is the same. The difference is the is if it is arm or x86.
So if I use a Linuxserver x86 image, you should pick the arm image. After that everything else is exactly the same as the video!
yes:
first and second post: OMV + Docker plugin media server (Plex, PlexPy, Ombi, Libresonic, NZBGet, ruTorrent, Sonarr, Radarr, Mylar, and more)
I've gone over this forum post but I'm still not able to create containers. When I try to create in the gui I get the attached error. I'm sure I'm missing something with permissions..
What are the full Host paths?
do you create appropriate folders like is described on first and second post to use PUID and PGID on the docker?
Sorry I did a step incorrectly. I was supposed to run the image before creating..
I've mapped out all the directories and it appears to be running. If I add a Host path but do not add a container path I'm able to run the image successfully. I take it I have to absolutely map out directories for them to work?
