3.5 is now pushed to the OMV 3.x repo. It has the features of the 4.x plugin (enable removed, better installation, etc) with the correct php5 directory.
Perfect, thanks.
Hi I just installed OMV 3.0.9 on Debian Jessie 3.9 and OMVExtras for OMV 3.x (erasmus).
on install of Flash Memory 3.5 I get "chmod: missing operand" errors, there is no enable button in the GUI, and the plugin shows no writes or root info. I read the last few pages of this thread and it looks like the issue was fixed, is it back again or is it me?
Many thanks install log below

I would try rebooting to see if it fixes it. If it doesn't there a few things that can be done. Is your root filesystem ext4? If not, it won't show writes. The enable button was removed.
I got the same errors. It's showing like it's disabled.

What is "showing like it's disabled"? It can't be disabled anymore. Post the output of mount

That is because it is read only. What do you get from: omv-mkconf flashmemory
there's no output to omv-mkconf flashmemory
there's no output to omv-mkconf flashmemory
And there shouldn't be if it runs correctly. Now try (as root):
folder2ram -disablesystemd
folder2ram -clean
folder2ram -enablesystemd
folder2ram -mountall
mount
Is it possible to add additional folders (e.g. /etc/pihole) to
/usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/flashmemory
and enable them using
omv-mkconf flashmemory?

Yes but your changes to /usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/flashmemory will be overwritten if there is an upgrade to the plugin. What folders are you adding?
/etc/pihole
as Pi-Hole seems to write the logging to that folder.

That would work but I would be careful since that directory also has config.

Is there a better way to make it persistent?
Is there a better way to make it persistent?
Not with the current plugin. I could add an additional directories textbox. Let me look into that.
May be it would be enough to add one folder that could be used as target for symlinks.
Would it be possible to add a suitable folder to the list to be used as targets for symlinks? I don't think any of the existing folders is suitable.
