Plex Update

A new plex server is avail (for plex pass owners):

Version 0.9.12.1 An update is available. Please install manually.

Its version 0.9.12.2...

How to upgrade? If i download the deb file and install by dpkg -i it breaks the config

No. Plex only releases for Ubuntu. The package omv uses us a tweaked Ubuntu package that appears a few days after for debian, then the repo server grabs it for omv.

That info is in the forum, posted many times

Sorry, somehow its little bit wired the search here or via google...

Ok, so this means the .12 packag on the link you posted will be grabbed by the repo server and then it will appear in the updates?

Think i was misleaded because its my 1st plex upgrade on omv, before on freenas everything plex related was more ... lets say difficult

Same question as in the other thread .... do we get just the normal versions or do we get the plex pass version via omv update???

I am sure we supply only the non-plexpass version. @ryecoaaron might have the correct answer.

You are correct. Our mirror repo is only non-plexpass. You can find the latest version of non-plexpass for wheezy that we would use here.

If you are a non-plexpass user you should only upgrade your plex version via the update manager in OMV's web gui.

I know, but i am a plex pass user .... did ask myself for what ... not many new functions and features released in the last year. But thats another story...
