• is it possible, to get a script or something that reinstalles all the WEB-GUI Stuff at once including setting the rights for the folders and files?
It seems to be very often that peaple have problems with the web-gui!
So me too (again)... I didn't change anything in the nginx or apache parts but when i want to use the web-gui there are often problems getting in!
In this case it would be nice to have a call of a script wich repairs that all.

    How about it?

You mean like omv-firstaid? Typically, the permissions aren't wrong unless you are changing them.

  • yes, something like that.

on my system it happend more than 4 times now, with changing something by myself!
I cant get in, after login with admin+password it takes about 30-40seconds than an communication error, under details: communication error.
I dont know WHAT is wrong...
Other way: isnt it possible to let that run under apache instead of nginx?

if you look how many people having problems with the web gui, see google- it makes sentence to have a repair-tool!
that shouldn't be much work for you i think, and a lot of people would be happy.

In the hundreds of installs that I have worked with, I have never had this issue. No idea why that would happen.

    What type of system?

isnt it possible to let that run under apache instead of nginx?

We used to use apache with OMV 0.2 to 0.5. It is much heavier than nginx. I am very familiar with both so not sure how that would fix things.

omv-firstaid already exists and has for a long time. Did you try it??

I would remove the nginx plugin. You might have something wrong with that.
