Volume not showing up in "Shares"

  • Hello everybody,

I hope this is not a dublicate post.
I'm a complete noob, just got my Raspberry Pi 3 and installed OMV. My goal is to use it as a NAS with SMB to stream movies via Kodi to my Android TV.

Now here's my problem: When I try to add a folder on my attached HDD to the "Shared Folders" - List, it just does not show up. I can only select the SD I with the OMV image.
If I go to "Filesystems" or "Physical Disks", the HDD shows up as mounted though... I also mounted it manually via the R3 CLI.

    Am I doing anything wrong?

    Thank you guys in advance!

    Cheers,
    Stefan

Yep, you have to mount it in the OMV web interface otherwise there is no mntent in the database.

  • Hello,
I have exactly the same problem.
Mounted using webui, HDD drives with NTFS don't show up when I try to share.

Do they have labels in the filesystem tab?

The space in the name is the issue
