anyway of backing up my docker containers and setup?

helllo there,

so im soon gonna upgrade to OMV4 and am thinking about a clean install (as there is some problems with my current OMV3 setup that i have not being able solve, anyway i have a dir called /docker that is containing all my docker container data/configs

so if i was to take a backup of this dir /docker/ onto another computer and then wipe and install OMV4 is there anyway to restore this data, so that i dont have to setup each docker containers i have, such as "sonarr" "transmission" "radarr" "embyserver" and more (yes i run these in Docker)

Depending on the storage driver backing up that directory should be fine. I think ext4 with overlay driver is ok, btrfs, zfs might have trouble.

What everybody should do is keep a docker-compose file with all your containers, port maps, volume binds and other settings. I was looking yesterday for a tool to export running containers to docker-compose but i didn't find anything.

Edit: the github indicates containerId, but is container name. It works good
