I no longer have access to /srv/ directory, unless is access it as a sudoer. Does anyone know what happened? Is this another OMV5 related update? Any suggestions? ...I googled and couldn't find and answer.

You can change the permissions on it like so:
sudo chmod 755 /srv

Still the same problem.
Unmouting and remounting from OMV still does not help. Reboot did not help either. However, creating a symlink via the symlink OMV-Extras addon worked. Why? -
