Install Conbee II Zigbee USB-device with OpenMediaVault

I'd like to use an Conbee II Zigbee USB-device on my OpenMediaVault x64 machine.

Unfortunately, the setup documentation on the manufacture's website only covers installing the device on a regular Ubuntu desktop environment - not a headless Debian system:

As someone maybe already been using such a Conbee II stick with OMV and can give me some instructions? Can I just SSH into OVM and follow the installation procedure given above?
