Intel Pro1000 card not recognised

  • Hi all

So I've been playing with OMV for the last couple of weeks.

1 issue I'm having is with my network card.

My motherboard has a built in LAN port which works fine however I'd like to get my dual NIC card working so i can aggregate the link.

The interfaces that get brought from up "ip -a" in SSH are confusing me:

If i do a "LSPCI" it is not showing my card, only the inbuilt:

    Any ideas?

I've installed OMV extras and done the proxmox kernal updates.

  • is there anything that could cause it not to recognise at the hardware level?

The card use to work fine but i guess its possible I've fried it with static while rebuilding.

I've removed it a couple of times and tried it in different PCIe slots, still nothing.

If there's nothing else anyone can think of I'll try it in a friends server and see if it recognises in one of his.
