Hi there,

I am new here and i am sorry if i have repeated an issue with this, but couldn't find it if its out there.

I am hoping some wizz out there can assist with this fault i am having?

I have Debian 10 Cinnamon, running OMV in the background.

AMD FX-8350

16GB

Roughly 3TB of HDD.

I am trying to create a NFS for my misses as she has Very little space on her notebook.

And i am getting this issue.

Dont worry all, i did a fresh install of Debian and now this error has gone...

There might be conflicts between the desktop environment and OMV. That is why it is recommended to use OMV on Debian without desktop environment like Cinnamon etc.

Thanks for the comment. I have reinstalled Debian, and using Cinnamon again, seems to working fine now. Gave up on NFS and tried SMB, which has worked nicely
