Moving external drive with sharedfolders from OMV 4 to OMV 5

Hi,

I'm currently running an OMV 4 installation on a Raspberry Pi 3 with external drive attached containing sharedfolders. Now I'm going to install OMV 5 on a Raspberry Pi 4+ and I want to use the external drive on the new installation with the same sharedfolders (mainly from docker-containers within OMV).

What's the best practice to move the external drive from one OMV-installation to another without having to reformat the drive?

• shut down Pi3
• unplug the drive from Pi3
• plug the drive in Pi4
• boot
• mount the filesystem
• create shared folders pointing at the existing folders of the drive (use the drop down menu to avoid typos)
