Accidentally removed hard disk - no longer referenced

I accidentially removed a hard drive - and when I re-installed it - the device shows missing. The disk is not showing on the disks screen either. Call me a noob, but how can I get the disk to reappear ?

I did. Restarted Pi again. Reseated disk connectors again. Rescanned....Voila !
