SMB Enabled but not Running

  • Hello, My SMB failed today just like that

    I was transferring some files...well uploading some files to my google drive, went away for a bit, and when I came back, I noticed the remaining uploads failed.


    I rebooted the server, same issue.

    Made updates, same issue.

    Removed shared drives, same issue

    Disabled SMB, and upon enabling, I received error:

    Next time make a backup, So you have a restore as second option ;)


    Post the output of: journnalctl -u smbd in a code box. That is the </> button in the menu of the forum.
